In Folsom, California, Prairie Oaks is located to the north of Iron Point Road, east of Prairie City Road and south of Blue Ravine Road. There was a town of Prairie City during the Gold Rush, and even though the exact location isn't known, most historians believe it was in this general area. Residential construction began in this area in the mid 1990's. It was a mix of production and semi-custom homes. Some of the homes in the area back up to greenbelt with views of mature trees and nature. Most homes in the area currently sell from the low $500,000's to the mid $600,000's.
